Heard a lot of good things about this place and it did not disappoint. Easily one of the best smash burgers I've had.

The patty was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had a great crisp on it. The sauce tied the whole thing together. Fries portion is huge, so I'd recommend sharing with a friend. The staff were super kind and polite, and they even have a free little photo booth, which is a cute touch.

A couple of things to know. The space is small, so it does get a bit smoky inside, worth keeping in mind if you're sensitive to that. Seating is limited too, though I went around 2pm and had no trouble getting a single spot at the bar. Food took about 25 minutes, which felt a bit long given only three people ordered ahead of me. I've heard the line can get long, so try going slightly before or after the lunch rush.

Loved it, will be back.

This place was just okay. Maybe it was overhyped, or maybe we just went on an off day, but I really didn't see what all the hype was about.

The service was awful. The guy who looked like John Lennon kept rolling his eyes whenever I asked a question. For example, I asked if the onion rings were battered or breaded, and his response was, "They're frozen and deep fried." Not exactly a helpful answer.

As for the food, the burger was dry, bland, and had no real texture. Nothing about it stood out or made me want another bite.

That being said, I'm willing to give this place another shot. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, and I'd like to come back and try it again before making a final judgment. But based on this visit, I really don't understand the hype.

I’m usually not a big fan of cheeseburgers because they can get too heavy by the last few bites, but this one was delicious from start to finish! I highly recommend the Double Cheeseburger and the Dirty Fries. Since it was my first visit, the receptionist kindly introduced the menu and explained everything about the restaurant. Thank you for the warm welcome🥹🤍 I’ll definitely be back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TL;DR: Excellent smash burgers with unique flavors, but be prepared for a lineup and leave smelling like a fryer.

🍔 Food

We went to Between 2 Buns, and it definitely lived up to the hype.

The burger buns were fresh, the smash patties were seasoned and cooked really well, and the sauces were a standout. They weren’t trying to copy other burger chains. They had their own unique flavor, which I really appreciated.

The pickles were great quality, and the fries were good too.

😊 Service

There was a lineup, but the staff handled it very well. The girl at the front and the chefs were working hard the entire time. We went around 7:30 p.m., close to their closing time, and they were still very busy. Also, don’t miss the closing time because they close fairly early.

📸 Atmosphere

The place was clean, and I liked the overall concept. They even have a photo booth, which is a fun touch. Just be mindful of the privacy settings if you decide to use it.

😅 One downside

My biggest complaint wasn’t the lineup. It was the grease smell. After leaving, my hair, clothes, and even my jacket smelled heavily like fryer oil. It really lingered and was the only part of the experience I didn’t enjoy.

The burgers were incredibly juicy without being soggy at all. The sauces complemented the patties perfectly and brought everything together so well. You really can’t go wrong with the onion rings but that dipping sauce? Absolutely bomb!

I’m usually not a big fan of sauce on fries, but the cheese sauce was surprisingly delicious, and somehow the fries still stayed crispy instead of getting soggy.

On top of that, the service and cleanliness of the place were impeccable. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!
